Arosheny Puvanenthirarajah

My name is Arosheny Puvanenthirarajah (I go by Aro) and I am an international student from Sri Lanka. I am a potential Pre-Med Molecular Biology major with certificates in Global Health and Health policy (GHP) and Neuroscience. Outside of academics I love volunteering, filming, cycling, and going to the gym.

I want to pursue an MD/PhD degree after my bachelors at Princeton. My interest in research started when I fell in love with science and began wondering how amazing discoveries were made. I pursued a research internship as a high-schooler, and it gave me a deeper insight of what it is like to be a researcher. Research is something that I see myself doing alongside working as a surgeon in the future, and I want to use the many opportunities that Princeton has to offer to its undergraduates to get a head start on my journey as a researcher.
