I am currently an undergraduate student (’24) concentrating in Molecular Biology. Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by small organisms and the natural world. In the lab, I am excited to learn how the pyrenoid behaves and replicates in the model organism Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Currently, I am being co-mentored by Shan He and Linnea Lemma to investigate the biophysical mechanism of pyrenoid matrix dissolution and, more broadly, matrix dynamics throughout the cell cycle.

Hailing from Northeast Ohio, I am an avid fan of the Cavaliers. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing basketball, and listening to music.
