Kevin Zhang

I'm currently an undergraduate student in the class of 2024 and intend to major in either Molecular Biology or Chemistry. In the lab I'm being mentored by Micah Burton and am working on identifying a restriction enzyme in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii that appears to cause significant difficulties in transforming the cells. I'm very excited to be working in the lab, particularly learning more about research.

I grew up in the rural Upper Peninsula of Michigan and enjoy spending time in nature, especially cross country skiing, biking, and hiking. I also play violin in the Princeton University Sinfonia and enjoy doing puzzles.
